Mixed Results for Shanklins Men

There was good and bad this weekend with the First Team winning and reserves coming second.
The first X11 were rewarded with a 2-0 win over Cowes based Northwood with goals from Richie Woodburn and Dwain Johnson.
The reserves were not so fortunate against league leaders West Wight after they lost 2-1 with the Shanklin goal coming from one of Shanklins better players on the day, Stu Breignan. In fairness Shanklin pr0bably didnt deserve to win, but their game wasnt helped by a very vocal West Wight side who tried their upmost to influence the referee, so much for the RESPECT campaign.
