Holliers Hotel

Steve and Dawn at the Holliers have been a great supporter of the youth football section over the last couple of years and have not only held 2 auction evenings to raise funds but have also sponsored the Under 14’s Predators team with a new kit.

The Hotel is set on the edge of the popular town of Shanklin, which enables you to walk from the Hotel through the Old Village into the town at your
ease. A pleasant walk through beautiful gardens leads you down to the beach, or alternatively the park and countryside beyond is only moments away. Enjoy the many walks and build up a healthy appetite or thirst.

Holliers,being the first and original Hotel in Shanklin, was originally a 17th Century Coaching Inn and still retains its original charm. When the Poet Longfellow stayed here in 1868 he found it “a lovely thatched-roofed hotel all covered with ivy, and extremely desirable……Our windows look down on the quaintest little village you ever saw. It is all like a scene on the Stage.
