Shanklin really pulled together as a team today, with Jake B injured it fell to Harrison and Sam M to be our stand in goalies for todays match and they both did an excellent job.
It was definitely a game of 2 halves today, Oakfield started strongly and some neat passing put them 1 up, Shanklin [...]

East Cowes U11 (0) v Shanklin U11 (3)
Another solid team performance from Shanklin and probably the quickest goal scored to date with Eden Pardey finding the back of the net about a minute after kick off. A great finish from Dalton Pike and a well taken penalty from Bayley Hayter gave Shanklin a 3 goal lead at half time.

Shanklin U10’s showed what a good footballing team they are becoming with a fantastic win over Seaview. The scoreline was not important, but the way the lads played, the way they listened and more importantly the way they did what they were asked was fantastic.
I’m not going to write about who scored but instead write [...]
Shanklin U11 (1) v Newport U11 (2)
Shanklin were unlucky not to get anything from this game, the lads all gave 100% and as a team were outstanding.
The match was very evenly contested, Newport opened the scoring midway through the first half but Shanklin kept the pressure up and Harrison Smith equalised just after half time. Shanklin were unlucky to concede later [...]
Shanklin U9 (10) v Gurnard U9 (0)
Ten excellent goals were the reward for Shanklin’s brilliant team play. The defence was solid and the attacking play fast. The first goal was by Ade Fashina, Josh Dennes scored four cracking goals and Adam Davis a hat-trick. Conor Burton’s brilliant display in midfield earnt him two goals. However Gurnard never gave up and showed [...]
